Hello,everyone! Im Miranda, previously in my life,I introduced two approaches to create games and two famous online games. Therefore, I will tell you five types of video games in this journal.Furthermore,the other five types will be introduced in next journal.
The five types of video games
ACT: Action Games
This type of video games base on an action, like jumping or running. A good example of this games is a series of "Stick men".
However, Action games also include certain types of games,such as SPG(Sport Games),STG(Shooting Games), RAG(Racing Games) and FTG( Fighting Games).
SPG:Sport Games
It is clearly show that this type of video games is relate to sports. For example, the famous football video games: FIFA 94~FIFA 15
STG:Shooting Games
Shooting Games is using guns or bows to shoot items or monsters in the games.There are also having a specific types:FPS(First personal shooting. The view angle of this types of video games is first person.
RAG:Racing Games
Racing Games is players drive car or other ways to race with other players. There are some games combine racing and music;it can called as Music Racing Games.
FTG:Fighting Games.
It is a famous type of video games. Most players maybe still remember the King of Fight and Street Fighter.Do you remember the video games hall?
MUG:Music Games
Even though I would like to put this type of video games in to the Action Games, they have different core. Music Games focus on music although they can not lack of action. Therefore, some music games is let players play instruments in the game. Furthermore, other music game combine with action games, for example QQ Music Dance or Taiko Dum Master.
Today, we focus one five types of video games: Action Games(SPG,STG,RAG,FTG) and Music Games. In the next journal , I will tell you other types of video Games: SMI, SLG,GAL,RPG,PUZ
